David Crosby

David Crosby photo from house.govFolk singer David Crosby (pictured right) is one of the sweetest songbirds to ever harmonize in rock music. Born in Los Angeles in 1941, he and his family would perform family concerts and he developed an early love for jazz and classical music. He first performed with Les Baxter's Balladeers before joining with Graham Nash, David Stills, and Stephen Stills to form Crosby, Stills & Nash.

In 1988, he co-authored, Long Time Gone, an autobiography that tells of his battles with drug addiction and his life as a musical celebrity.
