Alzina Stone Dale
Alzina Stone Dale is best known for her biography and research on Dorothy L. Sayers. Dale is a non-fiction writer who has written a number of biographies and travel guides. She has received a Catholic Book Award and a Quality of Design and Production Award.
A freelance writer and lecturer, Dale grew up in Chicago and went to school at the University of Chicago. She helped establish the Hugh Holton Collection at the Newberry Library in memory of the late Chicago writer and police captain. Her goal is to eventually see a Chicago Mystery Writers Collection housed there.
