Jeffrey Deaver
Jeffery Deaver, author of 19 novels, has a docket-full of awards and nominations from some of the most recognized literary awards around. He's been nominated for five Edgars, an Anthony, and has three times won the Ellery Queen Reader's Award. His novel, The Bone Collector, was made into a Universal movie starring Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie.
Deaver is an award-winning poet, journalist, legal correspondent, lawyer, and musician. Born near Chicago in 1950, he now lives in North Carolina and frequently tours internationally.
Deaver is no stranger to bestseller lists. He's appeared on ones in The New York Times, The London Times, and the Los Angeles Times. His works have been translated into 25 different languages.
