Brendan DuBois

Whether sketching in short stories or stretching out a tale in novels, Brendan DuBois has been delighting mystery fans with his Lewis Cole series and his other standalone novels.

The winner of two Shamus Awards and a frequent Edgar nominee, DuBois is a former reporter who has lived his entire life in New Hampshire.

So well-favored is his work that Houghton Mifflin chose one of his stories to appear in Best American Mystery Stories of the Century, a book which also contained works by Raymond Chandler, O. Henry, Flannery O'Connor, and John Steinbeck.
