P.D. Eastman
P.D. Eastman is often
confused with Dr.
Seuss, but the two are actually two different people. A writer, illustrator,
and film producer, Eastman was born in Amherst, Massachusetts where he also
went to college. He worked with such powerhouses as Warner Brothers and
Disney, creating the series Gerald McBoing Boing.
Eastman wrote several children's books, the most popular one being published in 1960, Are You My Mother. He also collaborated with Dr. Seuss on The Cat in the Hat Dictionary.
