GRAND MASTERS
Science Fiction Writers of America
Description:
The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America presents the Grand Master Award to a living author for a lifetime's achievement in science fiction and fantasy.
Judging Process:
The officers of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America determine which author will be recognized. There was once a rule that no more than six authors could be recognized per decade, but that was relaxed in the 1990s.
